Activity 1 and Activity 2 of Convivial Strategies was a way to record the voices and experiences of County of Los Angeles leadership and staff working on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion issues as part of the LA County Equity Summit 2019. The goal was to kickstart the LA County Department of Arts And Culture’s new inclusive Cultural Policy engagement work.

Exercise guided attendees to reflect on their identities and when they felt welcomed before sharing with peers as a way to reflect on different experiences that can lead to greater empathy and inclusion.
